Apple spent 1.8 billion on its global advertising in 2015, an increase of 50 percent over the previous year.
The company reported annual earnings of the year ending on September 26 to $600 million, which is six time greater than the $100 million increase recorded in 2016.
Apple had spent $1.2 billion in the year to September 2014 and $1.1 billion in the previous year.
