Atari has confirmed that it is making a new video game console.
“We’re back in the hardware business,” Atari CEO Fred Chesnais said during an exclusive interview with GameBeat.
Chesnais said it is based on PC technology but refused to disclose other details of the console.
The said the working on the design of the console is underway and it will be unveiled in the ‘after a few months.’
Once a leader in video game industry, the company is now best known for developing mobile games – both for Android and IOS platforms.
