Smartwatch sales will grow exponentially and reach 45 million by the end of 2017, according to analysts at Canalys.
The experts also believe that the shipments of smartwatches like Pebble and Galaxy Gear will reach 8 million by 2014.
Galaxy Gear, which was released in September this year, is currently the best-seller smartwatch with a market share of 54%. Song accounts for 19 percent of the global smartwatch sales to the end users while crowd-funded project Pebble has a market share of 16 percent.
